Freevo configuration HOWTO? dvd autoplay etc.

ehh...

I tried to switch the Freevo language by

mv /usr/share/locale/fi/LC_MESSAGES/* > .../de/LC_MESSAGES/


there where the freevo.po files and such...

So.. it seems to be working but im not sure if phucked up :E
because.. my dvds wont play with freevo anymore. they work with xine & mplayer as root but not with freevo as user. Can some1 help me out.

Also i would like to get this thing started at boot. I have compiled for days and browsing google and fighted.

Just hoping to get some serious help. Thats all

So far i know that i have updated everything in my system. And it seems that freevo doesnt see my mplayer or xine anymore? How do i fix this?

Hi

If root can play DVDs the user is not in the right group. Add him to wheel audio cdrom video usb users...! And it shoud done.

but the root cant either, the mplayer and xine works fine if i play dvd only with mplayer or xine. no matter if im root or user... Point is that freevo isnt playing those as root or as user

Ah! Sorry but my english is not so good. I thought you cant play dvds as user.
I changed the sufixes in /etc/freevo/local_conf.py...
