I've just found this and thought you might be interested in: section 13.5 from

Have you tried any choice? I think the easiest t one is "Fan Replacement", there is no risk and it's cheap, any ideas?

There Verex brand is supposedly the quietest fan out there, but the price seems ridicolous. The SilenX is most likely the wises choice.
