I've taken the initiative to try our ability to go on SourceForge with the Freepia project. It's kind of new to me and I need your help. Using such a great tool like SourceForge is a bit overwhelming I must say.
Nonetheless, I want Freepia to be a SourceForge project for two main reasons:
1) Project management.
2) Publicity.
I'll try and address these here in short:
One is to manage the project with all the tools that SourceForge can and does provide a/the project. Such tools as Admin, Home Page, Forums, Tracker, Bugs, Support, Patches, RFE, Lists, Tasks, Docs, News, CVS and Files.
Two is to provide a better public awareness of Freepia as a project and at the same time, try and lure new help for the project. Help does not always mean in the development way, it can also be people using Freepia and reporting bugs and speaking out.
I cannot do this alone. This will not work out if I can't get help from the Freepia current users.
I'll start out with something small, web site. If you think you can help us make a good web site on sf.net being the host, then please email/pm me.
Thoughts? Ideas? Let me know and/or reply here.
Away we ride to a bigger, brighter and multimedia future

P.S.
The poll will stick for 30 days from today.
